·       The IPL 2026 season is set to kick off on March 28, 2026, with the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), facing Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

·       Because of upcoming state assembly elections, the BCCI has only released the schedule for the first phase (the first 20 matches), which runs from March 28 to April 12. The remaining fixtures will be announced once the election dates are finalized.
